Any ideas on how to build your own robot lawn mower? operated by a remote control?
I saw some videos on youtube and I like the idea. i sure I must buy a remote with a receiver, but my question is how can I connect the receiver the mower? and what is a good idea to propel the mower? I'll need two motors for both Rear Wheels? what do you think? I'm looking for the best way to do it. please tell me your thoughts ... Where can I get the engine to propel the mower?
If it is operated by control distance, then this is not a "robot" (What an abuse term it is today). It's just a remote controlled lawnmower. I recommend you buy an electric mower and modify it to accept signals from the remote. Or just buy one. An Internet search for "lawn to build remote-controlled" to find dozens of examples. .
