02 Bear Tracker will not start, but the fuel flows from the drain valve.?
I traded for this bike and when I launcher was taken off, "I fixed it" the fuel switch was broken cockpit, "I fixed" and when the time came to run it, I pulled the starter cord, and started for less than 3 secound, then the gas started spewing from the overflow valve on the bottom carburetor, so my first thought was to take it apart and use carburetor cleaner. Then came the moment I put it back together, and when I went the start, same thing starts gets flooded and then drained the relief valve. Please Help. I do not see many fragment into the carburetor when I took it apart, there was a little rust. I'm not great with carbohydrates, but I know enough about them. The Flow of these are two plastic drums on top of the right carbs? Could there be other problems?
The float may not be ... float more. it out and deposit it in a mold with water to see. [The float is not the carburetor] Take the carburetor completely out of the bike and give it a good going really well, it sounds like he still has a problem with float valve / float that must be resolved. Any rust in the bowl / tank? Using a fuel filter? If you are not familiar with rebuilding the carburetor Ya it might just pay for the removal and bring it to a store.
