Poulan Lawn mower, hydrostatic transmission destroyed?
A HD145H42H Poulan lawn tractor model was pulled behind truck clutchless hydrostatic transmission. Now the mower does not move when turned on. The drive belt is fine, throw him out block is active. One theory I heard is that there might now bubble in the clutch line. If so, how can I correct it? What other problems have arisen from towing could not drive hdrostatic disengaged? Please help
You will have to bleed the lines for the reader. This is an easy thing to do. If there is air in it will drive you out, otherwise you will need to remove hydrostatic transmission and disassemble it. it is easy to do and see how it works, and if you are well informed, you can easily reset the pump. My guess is one of the spring has come adrift inside.
