Bad Ignition Control Module or coil?
I have a 1997 honda Civic. I was driving it yesterday on the highway at about 70mph when it just stopped working for me. I pressed on the gas...but nothing.
All the lights still work on it just fine and it sounds like it wants to start up when I turn the key...but just doesn't get all the way there. I think it is the control module, but after doing some research i thought that it could also be the coil...is there a way to test to find out which one it is?
Also...if I do get it fixed. What was the problem that made the first control module fail? This would be nice to know so that I can prevent it from happening again.
