chevy 99 tahoe v8 engine cylinder numbering and distributor rotation diagram?
I would like to see a diagram of a chevy 99 tahoe engine cylinder numbering and distributer rotation.
Start by facing the engine from the radiator. The front right is #1 the front left is #2 the second right is #3 and so on. The firing order is 18436572 and #1 cylinder can be found with #1 cylinder on a compression stroke and the timing mark on the harmonic balance pointing at tdc. This will give you a reference at the distributor being as the rotor is now pointing to #1 and clock wise is the rotation 18436572.
