Which do YOu like beter: gas sor electric mower?
I know gas mowers are always breaking down, and needing repairs, and cost more in maintenance and repairs.
What are the downfalls with electric mowers?
Electric mowers are good if you have a small/medium back yard, or multiple outside electric outlet otherwise you just have to keep winding the cord and try not to cut over it. Also some electric lawnmower will lose power if the cord is too long. Practice makes perfect though and I've learned just to use a shorter cord, when you cut grass closer to the electric point and put an extension on when you move further out, to prevent the cords getting in your way.
I have an electric mover, and it works a charm. I use it to cut my front lawn which has a frontage of less than 10 m and width of 13 m. I wouldn't swap it for petrol one; all the having to buy petrol, running out to the shop at last minute, spilling of the petrol, dirty hands, and break-down of the machine is not worth it.
I love my electric mower 
It is also lighter and smaller, so easier to maneuver into those corners and under tree branches, and once I'm done, I just wheel it away into the garage and out of the way.
