I have a mark against eating weeds 20 "mower with a Briggs & Stratton. The last time I tried to crank it blew the oil?
muffler. I removed the plug, drained the oil from the cylinder and filled the crankcase with new oil. It cranked and ran fine except for smoking should from oil in the cylinder. My question is simple: how a relatively large amount of oil are found in the bottle? Bad rings? Valves at once? Lorenzo
it could be bad rings, but if the mower has been delivered (in reverse) it would cause an oil leak in the cylinder. if this is the case all you need to do is to get the oil and burn that got into the cylinder.
