Can you put the challenge Martial Arts belt testing?

I am a wrestler / boxer, but I also learned BJJ on the side (tutorial vids mainly sparring then open gym with people). Personally, I think I'm like ... class blue belt. I would actually start During JJB, but I do not think I am a "beginner" that should start white belt. Can I just go and challange tests belt? Or should I white and really start to work my way through the classes? It just seems stupid because I have all the basic functions and several intermediate and advanced moves. The guy I was sparring with blue belts, and I'm equal, if not better than them, it why I say I am blue belt class.

I'm not going to be too hard on you for that. You should start as a white belt in any martial arts you begin. Then it is the instructor if they decide to give you a belt more than the white. The instructor may skip the belt for you if they know you deserve it. It does not matter what you think or feel you deserve. It is important that the instructor qualified decides. As an instructor, I do not just reward a person of rank, because feel they deserve. My name and reputation is on the line. This person must know all the requirements of my dojo to be promoted. They must know more than just fighting:. Example I trained in martial arts since 1982. I have black belt Shorin ryu jujitsu. I recently went to train in a dojo aikido. In this dojo, I will wear a white belt. That's what I deserve to be in this category. I have not won a place in that style. Aikido does not spar like karate, but if they do most guys in the class are not at my level. But this does not change the fact that in their system, I am a white belt. Now the sensei can tell me to wear my black belt, but he did not do it. I must respect his decision. Personally, I do not want to wear it. Because of my training before I would most likely progress much faster than other beginners. Therefore, I go up in rank faster than most. In some classes of this wold be difficult. aikdo school may require you to spend some time and you have attended so many courses aikido seminars and / or before being tested for its grade. I do not agree with that for a reason to be promoted or not, but if I decide to train with them I will accept their instructions.
